Booking policies

Review Maestro Bus Lines booking, deposit, payment, cancellation and itinerary-change policies before confirming your Ottawa–Gatineau charter.

Review your booking before confirming

The following information reflects Maestro’s published booking policies. Read the quotation and reservation confirmation for your specific itinerary, and clarify any differences directly with the team. An inquiry or prepared email does not reserve a vehicle.

Changes to your itinerary

Let the team know if your passenger count, pickup location, destination, travel times or vehicle requirements change. Extra stops, additional time and requested extras can affect the final charge. Keep the latest agreed itinerary available to the group organizer and confirm changes before travel.

How do I make a reservation?

Call 613-737-5466, email info@maestrobus.com or prepare an email with our trip planner. Include your dates, route and passenger count. Maestro confirms availability and terms directly; an inquiry does not reserve a vehicle. A major credit card is required at booking. Do not send card details by email.

Do you require a deposit?

The published policy says deposits are not always required; generally a $200 deposit applies to trips of $750 or more. Confirm the terms for your charter with the team.

What is your cancellation policy?

The published policy requires at least 7 days’ notice to cancel without financial liability. After that, cancellation incurs 50% of the original charter amount. Cancellations within 48 hours are billed the full charter amount.

How are credit cards and vehicle substitutions handled?

The published terms require a major credit card to guarantee a reservation, authorize it 48 hours before the trip and bill on the charter day. Corporate custom billing may be arranged through an account manager. Maestro reserves the right to substitute a vehicle of the same or equal size/fare value. Clients are responsible for damage caused by their guests.

Why might the final bill differ from the quote?

The published policy bases estimates on supplied times and bills actual use in 30-minute increments after minimum usage requirements. Less or more time can change the bill. Contractual charges and requested extras may also apply.

Can I smoke in the vehicle?

All buses are smoke-free. Maestro’s published FAQ notes that intermittent stops are usually made on longer trips.
